Capcom Announces Mega Man 11, Mega Man X Legacy Collection, & More

People were speculating if Capcom was going to announce any new IPs, during today’s Mega Man 30th Anniversary Live Twitch Event. Nothing new was announced during Capcom’s Mega Man 25th anniversary, so people weren’t holding their breath.

To our surprise, Capcom announced several upcoming releases, including a new Mega Man game, Mega Man 11. Here is the trailer:

Mega ManGamestop owned, Game Informer, will have an exclusive Mega Man 30th Anniversary cover for their January subscription release if you are one to collect such items. Game Informer will also have a making-of the cover special video coming soon so keep an eye out for that at Game Informer’s Mega Man hub HERE.

In addition, Capcom also announced MegaMan Legacy Collection 1 & 2 for the Nintendo Switch and a new Mega Man X Legacy Collection (1-8) for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One and Steam (PC).

Mega Man 11 is scheduled for release at the end of 2018, which, unfortunately, is a year away. Though not given specific dates, Mega Man Legacy Collections 1 & 2 and Mega Man X Legacy Collection will release some time in between the new year and Mega Man 11’a release.

Further details will continue to be announced as we progress towards Mega Man 11’s release, so stay tuned for updates.
